I can’t tell you how excited I was to design this cake! The design is is five tiers, inspired by the lovely centerpiece arrangements created by Michelle at the Silver Vase. Each tier was covered in pearly white or teal fondant and accented with brown satin ribbon. My favorite part of the design is the cascade of delicate, handmade sugar orchids.
What a fabulous way to end a very busy week! This five-tier design includeds alternating full and half-height tiers. The design is accented with satin and sheer chocolate ribbon, as well as seven handmade larger-than-life sugar cosmos flowers.
This birthday cake design was created to reflect a carnival/big top theme. It’s technically a two-tier cake, and it boasts lots of bold colors and hand-cut sugar lettering and circus animals.
This little number is a two-tier design with crisp white fondant, satin ribbon, and a handmade gumpaste sugar anemone flower. Enjoy!
This three-tier baby shower cake design was created to highlight a rubber ducky theme and color palette of soft pastels. Enjoy!
This Saturday’s design is a personal favorite… Those of you familiar with Mod Monkey will recognize the signature teal and yellow polka dots on the crisp white background.
This latest design was inspired by some lovely Banafish baby bedding. It’s decorated in tinted vanilla fondant and accented with a handmade sugar anemone flower (expect to see lots more sugar flower designs from Wicked Cakes!).

Hi everyone! I had the very good fortune to provide the celebratory cupcakes for Kaci & Roy’s wedding in September… I have to say that they are truly two of my very favorite clients. To meet them is to love them. For their wedding, Kaci and Roy were extremely creative and they worked to have a ceremony (at the Cathedral of Junk) and reception (at Hill’s Cafe) that was warm, welcoming, and whimsical - a perfect fit for the couple. Kaci was kind enough to share some pictures of the evening with me, and I’ve included them here for you to check out. Jon Bolden took the lovely photographs - all the credits for this post go to him!

Seriously, these are hands down the best g-damn cupcakes, with the best cake and frosting I’ve ever had in my whole life. I thought I didn’t really like cake all that much until I had these - rich, moist, with light and flavorful frosting. Highly recommended!!!
